Why we’re proud of this work
Asheville on Bikes is a nonprofit that advocates for initiatives related to sidewalks, bike lanes, and other measures that help to make Asheville, NC a safe, accessible, and environmentally-friendly place to live. Cake is also based in Asheville, so the benefits of our work with AoB are tangible when we see folks enjoying new multi-use trails, or when a giant bike lane project receives approval from city council.
We work to translate AoB’s message into creative mediums, such as the street signage we created for the Street Tweaks team—strategically placed to inform stakeholders about local initiatives. For community fund-raising events like Spring Out or Pumpkin Pedaller, we create branded day-of event materials that include maps with QR codes to help participants self-navigate the route. Importantly, we challenge ourselves to give each event its own identity that channels the fun-loving, community-minded spirit of the organization.
